When Lelli Kelly started back in the 90's it was all about the canvas shoes with the beads. They were a roaring success and this lead on to the development of the shoe collection particularly the ones with the interchangeable straps, or mille volti! The shoes sold out as soon as they hit the shelves with the back up of the TV adverts which played on children's television throughout the main back to school campaigns in July and August.

After this collection has been established the company came up with the great idea of creating a cute boot range. Starting off with the Lelli Kelly Quilted Boot which was made from soft patent leather and featured the same party heel that they had launched on the Michelle party shoe. This particular Lelli Kelly Boot came in black and fuchsia patent and like the school shoes before it became a huge sell out with parents phoning up in the run up to Christmas trying to grab a pair for their daughters for Christmas presents!

Turn the clock forward a year and the company, in 2010 came up with the first boot collection featuring interchangeable or swappable straps. This came in the form of the Lelli Kelly straps high boot. This boot came in a variety of finishes with the black patent and the purple suede selling out the best because they were feature on the television ads. These fantastic boots also featured what the company called 'click clack' heels. The top piece of the heel which is the small bit underneath the heel mde a 'clacking' sound as it touched the floor! The company though this was a great idea to sound 'just like mummy'! clacking around in heels.

The company moved on once more - you can say a lot of things about Lelli Kelly but innovation is in their blood and they move very quickly when it comes to design and patenting. No one had done click clack heels before and no other company had come up with the idea of boots where the straps could be swapped over either!

Move on another year to 2011 and the company have dropped the higher heels which some parents didn’t like and developed two new low edges which maintain their innovation by the quality of the design on the uppers. The main boots - Samantha comes with three sets of straps that can be swapped over coming in the two main colours of black patent and fuchsia patent. There is a whole collection of fabulous boots to support this main style.

On top of the fantastic selection of colourful boots - for the first time the company has released limit edition leg warmers as featured in their adverts! These woven open ended socks slip some in two sizes and slip easily over the boots giving them an amazing new look for the winter! The legwarmers have fuchsia flowers embroidered on to them and are so pretty its untrue!

As it says on the adverts, 'You can even wear them on your arms'! well we prefer them as an option over the boots. With the changeable straps and the legwarmers your little girt can now wear her boots four different ways which is amazing!
